Signalling Tester in Charge Rail Jobs

What does a Signalling Tester in Charge do?

A Signalling Tester in Charge is responsible for defining and controlling the testing activities ensuring that suitable and sufficient evidence is gathered to confirm that the system meets the requirements appropriate to the application, and is fit for entry into service.

As a Tester in Charge you will identify the testing requirements and develop a test plan which will ensure that the system meets the requirements. You may also be required to modify the test plan in a controlled manner dealing with situations that may arise, which result in restricted use of the system.
