In order to achieve the level of reliability that our customers demand and deserve, our newly-established Infrastructure Maintenance function that employs 15,000 across 40 delivery units, will play a major role in delivering our vision of engineering and operating excellence for Britain’s railway. Our in-house maintenance organisation works as one single team maintaining signalling, track, and electrification using standardised, efficient processes that are committed to the achievement of our corporate goals.
Key Accountabilities
· Source and use appropriate data and undertake analysis
· Undertake detailed analysis to support the development of improvement initiatives and plans.
· Identify areas where performance improvements can be achieved.
· Make recommendations for improvement programmes.
· Support the development of business cases.
Job Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Essential
· Good analytical skills
· Good report writing skills
· Good communication skills
Desirable
· Knowledge of operational railway
· Knowledge of other functional disciplines
