As an experienced Senior Construction Manager you will have excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for managing a team of Construction Managers to ensure all works are implemented to the required standard in accordance with the drawings and specifications.

Using your extensive experience within the construction industry, including excellent knowledge of CDM Regulations, will provide you with the confidence and ability to work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Commercial Managers and Planners. You will also be asked to provide regular reports to all relevant stakeholders on the progress of the project to enable completion and delivery of the programme.

Strong experience in S & T / E & P is a requirement for this position.

About the role

This position requires you to be a team player with strong management and inter personal skills, to enable you to liaise with Project Managers, Engineers, Commercial Managers and Planners in the delivery of programmes.

Do you have….?

Outstanding construction experience - ideally in the railway industry?

Experience of leading a team of multi-discipline site management personnel on major projects?

A thorough understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental issues relating to Construction?

Nebosh construction certificate / CSCS/CITB scheme/Auditing competence?

HNC or equivalent in construction or a relevant engineering discipline?

Working Knowledge of CDM Regulations requirements?

Effective communication skills and an understanding of customer requirements?

Able to manage a principal contractor and their subcontractors?

Highly dependable in your outlook?

Outstanding at communicating and presenting?

Confident in developing strong relationship internally and externally?

Dynamic and highly customer focused?
