As a Project Engineer for Network Rail on the Crossrail/ Reading Station Area Redevelopment project, you’ll be part of creating a world class rail infrastructure for the twenty-first century.
First and foremost, you’ll be passionate about good design. You’ll work alongside our designers to ensure their designs really deliver – making sure designs provide the functionality we require, as well as being value for money, and meeting all relevant standards. As the project progresses, you’ll oversee the implementation of these designs, ensuring everything’s done to our standards.
By joining us now, you can be part of taking a major project from design to completion. You’ll be working on different track layouts, under varying and challenging constraints – making this a great opportunity to showcase your ingenuity and develop your track engineering skills to their height.
You’ll need to have an outstanding knowledge of track design, track components and track standards and a solid understanding of other rail disciplines as well as experience of project engineering.
Salary is circa £30 - £40k plus excellent benefits.
