To assure product quality of key suppliers through a program of auditing, completion of questionnaires, Parts Approval Process and investigations/improvement projects. In particular the responsibilities of this role will include the following:
Conduct supplier accreditation audits/questionnaires, to assure key suppliers meet group and Passengers needs. You will also monitor trends and work with suppliers to address issues of nonconformity.
Audit safety critical suppliers to assure that they meet the requirements of GMRT 2450.
Complete the Parts Approval Process for new products supplied to Passengers UK.
This will also include Rejection/conformance of materials and conducting investigations/problem solving of nonconforming products.
Provide support to Project teams and Procurement by working with suppliers to enhance performance through Cost savings and product quality.
