An opportunity has arisen for a Head of Estates to join a leading NHS Foundation Trust based in the South East. The post holder will participate in the directorate decision-making process and strategic development, so contributing to the overall aims of the Trust's business objectives.
You hey will be responsible for all Estates services including all aspects of Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance and Capital development.
They will manage the provision of a full range of in-house and contracted out Estates services, ensuring that they are efficient and cost effective and reflect Trust objectives.
Job duties:
• Responsible for the development and implementation of the Estates Strategy including the Estate & Facilities element of the Capital Programme
• Leadership of the estates and facilities team, taking responsibility for all aspects of management and personal development
• Negotiation, monitoring and control of facilities management contracts
• Lead the effective and efficient running of Estates and Facilities teams
• Responsible for advice and audit of all non-clinical Health & Safety and Fire issues
• Ensure the Trust is compliant with its statutory and technical standards
The ideal candidate will be chartered or working towards chartered status.
