You will be responsible for providing electrical and power technical support to Signalling Solutions and may act as the contractor’s responsible engineer for power on allocated projects. Further responsibilities include technical investigations, monitoring compliance, attending meetings, carrying out risk assessments, produce relevant documents and reports and much more. The scope of works carried out will be from design through to delivery, meeting and liaising with clients throughout the process so you will need to show strong interpersonal team-working skills to accompany your technical literacy and business awareness.
Qualified in Electrical / Electronic Engineering to Degree level or with equivalent education, you will need experience working in an Electrical/Electronic /Engineering environment, preferably rail, power distribution or process control industries. Experience of designing LV power distribution systems and interfacing to HV systems using power systems design software (AMTECH or equivalent) is essential, along with a proven ability to apply system protection, discrimination, load assessment and diversity techniques to system design.
