Looking for a proven people manager with significant experience in signalling. You'll also be a strong communicator who's able to coach and mentor staff. You will be an experienced signal designer, IRSE licensed to Verifier level 1.1.160, with experience in acceptance of detailed signalling designs. Having a Design Managers IRSE licence level 1.1.145 would also be beneficial.
It's a key challenge that will involve ensuring that relevant procedures, standards, controls and best practice are correctly implemented. You'll also provide day-to-day support for staff and take responsibility for the checking and verification of design details, including plans and circuits; and the management of small design packages and teams of design engineers. You'll interface with clients to agree their requirements and be part of the design review process during the project lifecycle. You'll be responsible for ensuring that procedures and standards are correctly implemented at all stages of the work for which you are responsible. The primary focus is on LU systems, but the ability to transfer skills to mainline design is also of interest
