Senior Project Manager-Rail
An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Project Manager/Programme Manager with experience in a combination of Electrification, Overhead lines (OLE), Signalling and Telecomms, Permanent Way (P-Way), Civils or Health and Safety within the rail industry. The Multidisciplinary Senior Project Manager will work for one of Europe’s leading rail infrastructure main contractors and play a key role in the timely delivery of major projects in the UK. The opportunity has arisen as a direct result of increased workload.
The Multidisciplinary Senior Project Manager will have the opportunity to play a key role in the development of a growing business, where new ideas are invited, at the same time as ensuring delivery of projects of the value of £30million upwards. The Multidisciplinary Senior Project Manager will manage the 360 Project lifecycle and will be responsible for ensuring profit margins are achieved on projects. The role will involve all aspects of Project Management, including cost, planning and people management.
We are looking for excellent Senior Project Managers with a proven track record in delivering to target, with principal contractor experience. Suitable Project Managers will have multi-disciplinary experience within the rail industry, with specific experience ideally in either Permanent Way (P-Way), Signalling and Telecoms, Health and Safety, Electrification or OLE; within a Rail environment. Successful Project Managers will have experience with implementing new processes and procedures into a project or company, and will have experience of the cost control, planning and risk elements of project management.
