Requirements

-Act as Contractor’s Responsible Engineer and Contractor’s Engineering Manager when required to do so.
-BSC, BEng, Electrical Engineering or equivalent · IEng CEng, MIET, or equivalent
-Full Driving Licence
-Manage the delivery of technical excellence
-Work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels in the business
-Tenacious and committed to delivering project excellence

Responsibilities

-Responsible for the profit & loss accountability for South West E&P teams.
-Undertake role of Project Manager as required
-Establishment of internal design standards and/or processes to achieve a continuous improvement in quality and efficiency.
-Delivery of designs in accordance with the Client’s requirements and appropriate design standards using cost effective methods of analysis and design.
-Assess design resource requirements for medium and long term workloads and ensuring design resources are allocated and utilised to maximum effect.
-To take full responsibility for the technical quality of E&P Bristol
-Line management of all technical staff. Management of teams of engineers and external suppliers
-Lead and inspire team members to deliver first class project performance
-To supervise and check the work of others and to take part in the professional development of those staff.
-Training and development, mentoring and motivation of team members
-Provide input into Quality Plan and implement quality practice on all projects.
-Create and maintain clear lines of communication and conduct regular staff briefings.
-Manage all technical work through all stages of project development, design and implementation
