Part time based in Bicester, Oxfordshire

Job Purpose:

•Provide a clean work environment for employees and visitors.
•General facilities maintenance and minor repairs.

Principle Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

•Thorough cleaning and tidying of a combined office and vehicle workshop facility, comprising of entrance lobby, offices, kitchen, toilets, vehicle workshop & stores area.
•Ensure the efficient running of the facility.
•Replenishment and storing all cleaning materials & equipment.
•Cleaning tasks will include vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors, emptying bins, cleaning of kitchens and toilets, window cleaning inside and out.
•There is an element of manual handling and the use of ladders.
•Undertake minor DIY jobs.
•Supervision of contractors when on site.

The hours must be worked between 08.30 and 14.30 and preferably spread over three days.
The days and hours to be worked can be flexible and will be discussed with applicants.

Essential Skills

Essential

•Good DIY skills.
•Methodical approach and the ability to plan the activity effectively.
•Clean to a high standard.
•Previous experience in a similar role or stores environment essential
•High standards of cleanliness and workmanship.
•Reliable, resourceful and self motivated are all essential requirements.
•Have the ability to work on own initiative without being tasked.
•Integrity and discretion with respect to company and customer security.
•Full clean driving licence
•Ability to pass & maintain security clearance to a minimum of SC level.

Desirable

•An understanding of COSHH.
H&S in relation to cleaning products and there environmental impacts.
•A sound knowledge of correct hygiene practices.
•Flexible and willing to undertake additional tasks.
