Bid Document Controller required for a position based in Reading, Berkshire.

PURPOSE OF ROLE:



Bid Document Editor is responsible for maintaining a bid document library; defining the bid look in cooperation with Communications and with Technical Documentation; editing key bid documents to ensure both the style and language are streamlined and aligned for the entire bid submission; and liaising with various functional representatives to ensure the contents of the bid documents are aligned.



KEY RESULT AREAS:

• Establish and maintain a bid submission document library

• Maintain and improve bid templates for RCS including documents and graphical look

• Liaise with bid team members to ensure the documents get reviewed and edited in a timely fashion



KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

• Excellent written English

• Accurate document presentation skills

• High level of PC literacy with advanced knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel; and also preferably Visio and/or In-Design

• Able to work under own initiative

• Focused, able to work under pressure to meet deadlines

• Flexible to working longer hours when required to meet deadlines

• Technical background and knowledge an advantage



SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

• Good eye for design

• Good communication skills for interaction with different cultures and nationalities

• Excellent attention to detail

• Advanced organisational and time management skills
