As a key addition to the Metro Design team, you will be involved in Project Management and leadership in disciplines including structural, environmental, mechanical and electrical engineers covering a range of project requirements from new build to modification, maintenance or refurbishment. You will also be responsible for management of preliminary property protection (settlement) studies, Metro Methodology Report, cost estimates, feasibility studies, construction methods and coordination with systems and station consultants
Other key duties include production of detailed design calculations and drawings for metros and involvement in drawing productions, design feasibilities and interfaces. You will also support multiple design teams in design development from RIBA Stage C " F, coordinate the integration of engineering and architectural designs (IDC) for RIBA D, E and F deliverables
It is essential you have strong academic qualifications ideally a civil engineering/architectural (or equivalent) preferably with MEng or MA qualifications although not essential.
Additional requirements include considerable Metro design experience and a Chartered member of a recognised institution.
