Reporting to the Regional Director my client is looking for a highly motivated individual. The successful applicant with be responsible for and have previous experience of:
Quality Submissions
Pre Qualification submissions
Raising Quality Submissions to a very high Standard
Management of Key Quality submissions
Managing, reviewing, changing Quality systems for added value to the business
Develop strategy to improve our chances of winning the work
Agree and allocate resources for enquiries in conjunction with Regional Business Unit Leader
Liaise with operations/design/commercial/procurement
Customer relations
Develop relationships with Client
Accumulate market intelligence
Co-ordinate engineering design solutions
Co-ordinate tender documentation/submission package
Submission of tender package
Attend tender settlement meetings ensuring all relevant cost information is available for presentation and complete the tender as instructed.
Maintain regular contact with departments to obtain feedback on costs, technical and commercial performance.
The undertaking of a range of specialist administrative responsibilities aimed at producing high quality proposals.
Review Capability documents, Method Statements, and Risk Assessments
Write, edit and review material for documents
The ideal candidate would possess:
Ability to convert technical material into clear, interesting and articulate documents
Experience (but not essential) within the following sectors: roads, bridges, ground engineering and waterways \ river works
Strong communication, interpersonal skills, organisational skills and ability to work to tight deadlines.
Ability to work as part of a team and Manage where required.
Fully PC competent Analytical approach
Flexible/adaptable approach to work
Ability to co-ordinate tender submission documents
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to write creative capability prose based on factual information
Very high standard of writing, copy editing and proof reading skills
Able to analyse client questions to ensure the responses we create clearly answer the questions
Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects to tight deadlines
Software skills: Word, powerpoint presentations, Excel spreadsheet, Outlook e-mail Software skills
General understanding and ability to interpret Project programmes and construction requirements
Other key functions will include:
Manage, review and update proposals files and databases.
Capture information on projects, personnel, systems and procedures, facilities, and other topics such as health and safety, quality and the environment in a concise, readable format
