An exciting opportunity has arisen to work with one of the top 10 consultancies as a Senior Telecoms Engineer in York. You will be working on projects which are GRIP STAGES 1-8: development, design, installation, test & commissioning and handback. You will have several responsibilities in this role including, acting as a Telecoms CEM, CRE, or Senior Engineer on allocated schemes. Also, production, checking and issue of Telecoms schematics, diagrams and workings drawings to confirm the quality of product and enable construction work to take place within the prescribed timescale. Your overall role will be to ensure all engineering activities in connection with the design and implementation of project work are co-ordinated and technically compliant to Client and Company standards.

Qualifications and experience:

- Experience in both operational and retail systems
- Design/Project Engineer
- Appropriate educational and technical qualification e.g. HNC/HND/Degree
- IRSE licence holder in an Engineering Manager category, 7.8.110
- Member of appropriate professional institution
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Telecoms project work
- Good leadership qualities
- Flexible working approach
- IT literacy - Microsoft, Excel, P6 Planning and CAD
- Analytical
- Able to drive
