We are currently looking for a GIS Developer to work on HS2 being based in Birmingham on a contract basis. Within the role you will be installing, administrating and undertaking the configuration of ArcGIS Server 10.3.1 and 10.6.1.  You should have strong web development skills, including: C#, SQL, PL/SQL, HTML, ASP.NET, JavaScript, CSS, SQL Server 2008+, Visual Studio 2010+, Team Services, Azure etc. 

Within the position you will undertake ArcGIS Portal at 10.6.1 implementation which also includes the administration and configuration of Latitude Georcortex to support web mapping and workflow development and Spatial Database Analysis on SQL Server 2008. 

This is a great opportunity to work on a leading scheme as a GIS Developer and are looking for candidates with a strong ArcGIS background in experience in mapping and this is a contract position. 

Job Requirements

- Understanding of BIM and GIS, its benefits to major infrastructure projects and asset information management.

- Working knowledge of ArcGIS 10.3-10.6

- Experience of design and management of technical enterprise scale systems such as EDMS, GIS etc.

- Experience of using programming languages including but not limited to .NET, C#, Java, and Python
