Electrical Design Engineer - Rail - Contract

Salary
£280 per day for a 3 Month contract

Role Description
This role is looking for someone with in the rail industry that has worked on either:
• Mechanical & Electrical
• Electrification & Plant

The main reason behind this is the projects you will be working on vary from Station lighting, Platform illumination, Signalling Power Supplies and Points Heating. As an experienced Design Engineer your role will involve dealing with Network Rail designs on EB procedure so full detailed design.

Projects vary in size from 100k to 10million but more importantly is the type of person needed to fit in to the team. The office is open plan supported with a culture of drive, motivated individuals working to tight deadlines but ultimately wanting to succeed and progress in their careers. This office isn't for the weak or timid as you must be able to hold your own both technically and in personality.

Required Experience
You must have a degree to support your experience of designing with in the railway environment. If you have progressed up from a HNC / HND that is also acceptable. This role will look to support ambitious candidates aiming to achieve Chartered status.
