Environmental Manager, Hinkley Point

I am currently looking for a Environmental Manager to join a market leading Transmission & Distribution Construction company with a stable household name in a very competitive market, you would be part of their teams who deliver amazing projects; developing, managing and maintaining the vital infrastructure and public spaces that modern economies, societies and communities rely on.

This opportunity is on a permanent basis with a competitive salary.

You will be:-
Activities the Manager will oversee / Provide environmental management for the Advisors who will be looking at the activities/results of:
- Stripping topsoil
- Bund works / spoil (it cannot be over 1.4 metres high or 8 metres wide)
- Archaeology
- Ecology
- DCO's (Development Consent Orders - which are effectively the "Bible" of the Environmental outputs
- Knowledge of DCO's is a SIGNIFICANT advantage

You will:-
Have a MSc or degree in Environmental relevant degree
Be passionate and enthusiastic about Envrionmental Management.
Be a confident leader able to understand the programme, project and client requirements and communicate this to the project team and direct reports.
Be able to manage the Development Consent Orders in line with internal and client expectations
Be able and willing to be "Business Unit" focused and not "silo'd" towards just communicating "on the project".  Best practice will be expected to be given and taken across the business unit on the whole sustainability piece.
