We are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Site Engineer with experience working within Highways or Highway Structures, to work for a leading engineer company, based in Lincoln.

The right candidate will assist in carrying out construction monitoring of the structures, in accordance with the requirements from the contract. Also, the candidate will carry out construction, monitoring highway works as carriageway, drainage and earthworks.

You will assist in carrying out construction monitoring of the structures on site, including bridges, culverts and retaining walls. You will review Risk Assessments, Technical Queries, Method Statements and Quality Plans, as well as assisting in different inspections.

Job requirements:

- Previous experience as a Site Monitor, preferably gained on medium-to large-sized highway schemes
- Good site experience
- Good knowledge of the design and construction of highway structure, under DMRB or SHW procedure
- Good familiarity of NEC3 ECC.
