We are looking for a Process Manager with Paintshop experience to be based in Burnley, with occasional travel when required, to work for an international Aerospace high-technology group, operating in the aircraft propulsion and equipment, space and defense markets. With a global presence, more than 58,000 employees and sales of 16.5 billion euros in 2017.

To lead and manage a process area to ensure that customer demands and requirements are always met by executing the agreed manufacturing plan. You will be ensuring the application of regulatory, labour, safety requirements within the scope of responsibility. Ensure product quality requirements of the program and Ensure compliance of the delivery of the product on time in full, derived from the Master Production.

Activities will include:
General Management of the Manufacturing Plan
Respect the economic criteria considered in budgets, particularly for actual hours worked
Ensure adequacy of the load and capacity (qualitative and quantitative) on all activities contributing to the performance of the process areas/s
Develop the individual and collective skills and ensure development of staff
Develop investment projects which contribute to the developments or modification of industrial patterns
Ensure the presentation of the product line to the direction of the division
Coordinate, set up and implement standard operating procedures for all production operations
Manage the adherence to prescribed procedures to ensure first pass quality meets or exceeds planned goals
Ensure standard manufacturing times are achieved
Lead lean projects and ensure that changes introduced through improvement projects are replicated within the ERP system to ensure the effectiveness of planning parameters
Measure and analyse performance in coordination with the process unit using the defined metrics and provide the required weekly/monthly reports
Analyse the root cause of metrics not at target level and work with the manufacturing management teams to develop the necessary action/recovery plans
Lead QRQC for the process area
Participates in: UAP Governance and routines, QRQC Reviews, Stock Takes, Audits and Assessments

Candidate skills & requirements
A detailed vision of production processes
Proficiency in the MRPII process
Knowledge of business economics
BSCM Basics in Supply Chain Management
Familiar with the systems used in the Supply Chain: ERP, APS, EDI

Education Requirements;
A minimum of a relevant HNC qualification (Engineering) is required however a B.Sc. Degree in a relevant subject is preferable.
