Based in Surrey & reporting to the Head of Sales, the Sales & Business Development Manager – Buses & Bus Operators will be wholly responsible for developing & generating technical & labour products & services to bus operators within London & the South East.
Our client specialises in the fast delivery of secure and high performance networks to government, corporate and business markets. Founded in the 1980's, the company combines passion for its work with industry expertise and innovative analytics with Transport for London [TfL], Siemens and the Metropolitan Police as established clients.
In 2008 the company became part of a larger group & has embarked on an aggressive & ambitious expansion plan to provide an enhanced service to all their customers & as part of this diversification is looking to immediately appoint a proven sales professional.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
• Responsible for generating new sales opportunities from within existing named accounts or prospects for the installation of technical equipment within buses & supporting infrastructure.
• Responsible for customer service management within accounts allocated
• Gather market intelligence and identify new opportunities
• Work with other business units to generate new products and services
You will be articulate, confident, tenacious and successful sales professional with previous experience of selling to bus operators, live within the Surrey area & possess the ability to gain credibility, with key decision makers, and with the drive, determination and tenacity to close sales & make money.
Knowledge & experience of the following is required:
• Educated to A-level standard or equivalent
• 5-years successful general sales background – ideally within a B2B environment
• 2-years successful specific sales track record of selling to bus operators
Pay & Benefits:
• Basic salary to £35,000 p.a.
