My client a leading engineering consultancy that are currently seeking a GIS Analyst based in the Birmingham area. You will provide support and assistance on several high-profile rail projects, mainly the High Speed Two (HS2), in which you will liaise with staff from various technical disciplines to provide GIS support, such as spatial analysis, digitisation, data editing, production of maps and other information outputs. Key responsibilities will include data management, working with information in an enterprise GIS system and developing processes to create bespoke analysis solutions

Day to day you will be using ESRI ArcGIS version 10.3 and FME workspace/FME desktop, so it essential that you are familiar and conversant in ArcGIS 10.3 and above. 

This is a contract positions and rate negotiable on a case by case basis dependent on experience. 

Job requirements

- Full Working knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS v10 and up
- Working knowledge of Map production, data driven pages and page definition queries.

- Working experience of writing and processing FME workspaces
