A urgent need has arisen for a Quality Control Engineer to join a leading JV delivery part partner on a major infrastructure programme. This is a 5 month contract assignment based in Central London and our client is looking for candidates who ideally have experience gathering documentation for IRN procedure and carry out checks for permanent works across packages.

Reporting into the Quality Control Lead the Quality Control Engineer will be responsible for:

Supporting the delivery of complex multi-disciplinary tasks.
Undertake investigations into failures, safety irregularities and other incidents and provide reports giving conclusions, causes, and recommendations.
Undertake approval and assurance for the changes to process or where urgent remedial action is required
Work with site based Engineers to provide solutions to emerging issues.
Advice and comment on technical proposals to ensure compliance with statutory requirements, standards and contract documents.
Timely reporting of NCR s
Attending client Quality Forums
To attend Package Readiness Reviews before commencement of Installation
Creation and review of Surveillance Reports.
Attends weekly package co-ordination meetings
Liaising with Package Engineers/Managers for site Surveillances, and communicating to QA for entry onto Surveillance Schedule.
