ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGER

LOCATION - Scottish Borders

Contract - Up to £250 a day

Role
My client is looking for an experienced Environmental Manager to work on Multiple Power Upgrade projects along the Scottish Borders.
Reporting directly into the Operations Manager, Project Manager and HSQE Director, the Environmental Manager will deal with all environmental issues and day to day tasks will include:
" Environmental inputs on tender submissions
" Site visits, up to three a week, advising on environmental issues
" Responsibility for environmental targets, including waste, materials, conservation inputs into conservational issues
" Liaise with the community
" Managing a team of advisors
" Meeting Site Managers and advising them on environmental procedures and issues.
" Creating and implementing quality control and standards within projects

The successful Environmental Manager will have an Environmental qualification be it a degree, HNC or HND along with NEBOSH/IOSH. You must also have over 2 years experience as an Environmental Manager on Power Projects.
