An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Operations department for a Delay Attribution Clerk. You will ensure the correct attribution of train running delay information relating to FCC train services. 

The successful applicant will be responsible for undertaking a comprehensive check of all TRUST DA incidents attributed to FCC Rail Ltd: 

•	Ensuring the root cause of the incident is correctly described and coded
•	Ensure the title bar correctly describes the incident
•	Ensure all information fields within an incident are correct and displaying all information (i.e. unit numbers, responsible train, location)
•	Dispute incorrect attribution in a timely manner
•	Communicate with Network Rail in order to resolve incidents

You must be organised, have excellent communication skills, be competent in Delay Attribution process and be able to get work done within tight deadlines.

You will liaise with managers to identify training and assessment needs whilst ensuring staff are competent to work safely on track.

It’s not necessary for you to have rail industry experience. In fact, what will set you apart is your motivation and natural flair for dealing with people at all levels.

The Facility Manager will be responsible for the team’s efficient delivery of customer focused performance that meets Service Level Agreements (SLAs).  The scope of the Facility Management operation includes:

Performance of Life Safety Systems,  Passenger Sensitive Equipment, Civil, Electrical, Electronic and Heating and Ventilation infrastructure within the respective Business Unit, inclusive of statutory, planned and reactive maintenance activities and cleaning. Guaranteeing compliance with HSSE safe operating procedures

Acting as client for Major and Minor Project Teams delivering infrastructure and facility improvement projects within the Business Unit.


4 or 5 Maintenance Managers report into the role
1 responsible for HSEQ, Fire
1 responsible for HVAC, M&amp;E
1 responsible for Projects

40 Technicians report into the Maintenance Managers (10 each).  Majority are apprentice trained.  The current FM goes to see them every day.

Asset Manager reports into the FM role.

Soft services are outsourced- 900 security officers.  Liaison with subcontractors.


Need a very strong man manager, excellent interpersonal skills

Interaction with the senior team, part of the senior management decision making team, involvement with unions, running of the business.

Involvement in disciplinary and grievances
