My client is a leading name in the rail sector; they are currently recruiting for a maintenance technician on a permanent full-time basis.
The successful candidate will come from a rail background with experience in mechanical maintenance.
The successful candidate will responsible for;
delivering, maintenance inspection, component changes and maintenance in accordance with maintenance plan and manuals as well other mechanical repairs.
Ensure work is completed in line with working procedures and in a safe and efficient manner.
You will have worked on rolling stock, freight wagons, bogies, locos or rail plant in either a maintenance or overhaul capacity. You will be familiar with hydraulic/pneumatic breaking systems, wheel sets etc
