As part of the Asset Management business that is responsible for helping their customers maintain and improve their property portfolios (buildings, grounds and related services), they are looking to strengthen the Knowledge Reporting team with technical asset managers that have the ability to deliver recommendations to their customers. 
These recommendations focus on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of all aspects of clients' property portfolios (for example: improving the standard of the buildings themselves, making the processes involved with maintaining the buildings more efficient, improving how the buildings are operated, advising on future planning for items of plant &amp; equipment, areas for cost savings etc.).

 Key Requirements 
The key drivers and requirements of the role including the following:

- Degree/ or similar level in a property or building-related discipline. 
-   Experience of working within the property or building industry
- Demonstrable experience in the understanding of maintaining a property portfolio with experience in one or more of the following areas:
1)     Estates (strategies, utilisation, freehold &amp; leasehold agreements, legislative compliance, space planning, work programme alignment etc) 
Supply chain (procurement strategies, contract management, service management, application of supplier performance etc) 
2)     Assets (investment appraisals, application of planned preventative maintenance, application of forward maintenance register etc) 
3)     Commercial (external funding, grants and taxes, capital, revenue &amp; utility costs, cost reduction initiatives etc) 
Political, Social &amp; Economic (government strategies, sustainability issues etc) Demonstrable experience of understanding customers' property requirements. 
- Demonstrable experience of translating property-related ‘knowledge' into focused solutions, advice and recommendations etc. 
- Experience of producing reports to a high standard 
- Ability to develop and maintain personal relationships with others to encourage the sharing of knowledge and experience. 
- The successful applicant will be required to be security vetted and employment will be subject to gaining security clearance for this role.

The successful Senior Land Advisor will manage the land and planning external supply chain and will act as an Expert Client on behalf of the Company. 

In order to apply for the role of Senior Land Advisor you will have the ability to drive efficiencies and effective decision making through process driven activities with multiple users. The role holder will be managing consultants to deliver land and planning services on a day to day basis.  You will have strong negotiation skills, and will have experience in presenting to internal stakeholders.  The successful Senior Land Advisor will be a qualified chartered surveyor or equivalent and a member of RICS or equivalent.  Suitable candidates will ideally have previous experience of working with or in the water industry or utilities industry specifically on matters relating to land entry and acquisitions.  The successful Senior Land Advisor will have a good understanding of general property management and practice.
