Corus Infrastructure Services are a multi-disciplinary design and engineering business comprising professional engineers, architects, surveyors and project delivery specialists across a number of market sectors including rail, industrial, energy and off-site solutions. 

The Job: Senior Bridge Engineer 
•To lead and direct teams of Engineers, Graduates, and Technicians 
•You will be responsible for producing engineering designs and drawings for all aspects of road and rail bridges projects. 
•Your involvement will take projects from conception to completion 
•Covering the preparation of structural assessments, feasibility studies, and development of outline designs, detailed design and site support. 
•You will monitor and manage project team performance against agreed project goals, ensuring that commitments made are delivered.
•Develop and manage relationships between clients, sub consultants and other suppliers.  

The Person:
•You will be professionally qualified Chartered Engineering in  (MICE/MIStructE) with relevant experience in the design and assessment of rail and road bridges
•Proven competence in the use of leading industry software for the analysis, design and detailing of bridges and structures  
•Knowledge of British and other European Industry standards and codes for bridge design and assessment
•You will be an enthusiastic, versatile and committed individual, not afraid to take on this challenging role 
•Be able to demonstrate confidence and ability to provide innovative and cost effective engineering solutions to client’s requirements and  timescales 
•Work closely with other team members and to motivate by example
•Capable of building upon existing relationships and contacts to generate income for the company.
•This is a highly challenging and rewarding role that will require considerable technical experience and managerial skills from the individual. 

On the job training will be provided for all aspects of the role.
