Electronics Engineer

One of clients is currently recruiting for an electronics engineer. An electronic engineer to work on a 2/3 month contract in south Wales. Our client is part of a stock listed group with 250 people on site and work mainly within the aerospace and controls industry. The business supplies controls and systems to the heavy material handling industry and the aerospace industry.

The electronics engineer with design integrated circuits and be involved with the prototyping, assembling and testing of the electronic circuits. This will include complex integrated circuits and hall effect inductive and optical systems. You will be responsible for liaising with the software engineers and test equipment engineers in regards to recommendations and preferences and design details. There is a possibility that they would consider the contractor moving into a permanent position as well.

The required skills:

• Minimum of an ONC in Electrical or electronic engineering.
• Electronics Design
• Hardware Design
• To be able to understand circuit diagrams
• Able to produce CAD drawings if required. Preferably Proteus

My client, a leading provider of mechanical engineering solutions to major companies in the power generation, industrial, chemical and oil and gas industries throughout the world is currently recruiting for a Contract Engineer / Tendering Engineer / Project Engineer to work at their site in Humberside.

The main focus of the role will be to provide contract management from the tendering process stage through to contract completion and invoice. This will entail the following duties & responsibilities:-
• Commercial responsibility for specifically allocated service, workshop and spares manufacturing contracts, relating to mechanical rotating machinery (pumps, compressors, valve, turbines, etc).
• Ensure technical and commercial conditions of contract are successfully negotiated and monitored.
• Preparation of tenders within the relevant approval procedures
• Management of contracts in a timely and cost effective manner
• Negotiations with suppliers in order to ensure most cost effective solutions
• Establish and maintain regular communication with key clients, including, where necessary site visits.
• To ensure all work falls within the parameters set by the relevant operating procedures.

The successful applicant will possess the following skills and experience:-
• Previous experience of contract negotiations including terms and conditions
• Able to read engineering drawings
• Good knowledge and experience of rotating machinery (pumps, compressors, valves, turbines, etc)
• Must be computer literate
• Work quickly, accurately and effectively
• Be self reliant and motivated

Contract Mechanical Design Engineer- Baggage Handling System Design

Contract Mechanical Design Engineer- Mechanical Handling - Southern England- Hampshire/ Surrey/ Hertforshire- Excellent rates of pay plus expenses.

Our client is a world renowned company in the mechanical handling sector. Due to a large contract win they require the assistance of a mechanical systems design engineer initially for three months.

Requirements
-Applicants must be proficient with Autocad and have worked on some sort of mechanical handling systems, ideally baggage handling.
- Experience of conducting site surveys is also preferred but not essential.

Role
-The role is to assist in the design and modification of baggage handling systems for a prestigious client. The role will be a varied one with visits to sight, client liaison and trouble shooting existing designs.
